MS MR

This is the part where we tell you just how amazing MS MR were monday night at Rescue Rooms and this is the part where you all weep with jealously, because quite frankly we would too if we missed that cracker of a show. 

Lets try to set the scene a little bit, we were standing right at the very front (yet still we had a reasonable amount of space to strut those crazy moves), the lighting was down then on comes the raddest bearded dude playing his guitar with drum sticks- YES DRUM STICKS. Seriously he was rocking out hardcore, to the point where we were like ‘man just keep him on stage all night’ Then of course it all goes off, the rest of MS MR walk on and bones starts. 

The gig itself was impressive and by impressive we mean they are 110% better live. Lizzys voice is insane, the way she sung BTSK could literally blow the roof off. Not only that, the whole bands stage presence was absolutely liberating to watch, they were rocking the stage, strutting their stuff, flirting with the crowd. We were all loving it. I mean you should have seen the gloriously plump girl in front of us basically grinding against a pal of ours (he was loving it, so was she). I tell you what though even the crowd was decent, they’re was no (scuse my french) dicks trying to mosh, forcing their way, squashing everyone to the front.. it was all very civilised. The only thing crazy about the crowd was the 80’s style dancing, head bopping and flailing of the arms being thrown around - amazing. 

Overall, the gig has completely changed our perspective on the band, they were indeed better than we imagined. Well done the gig was cracking!
