TO KILL A KING

This is a band that seriously hasn’t been given the recognition they deserve. Most people know them as the down to earth guys who regularly tour with Bastille. But there's a lot more to these four currently London based chaps; With they’re catchy, heart felt and damn kick ass songs they’re definitely going to have other bands shaking in their boots. I’ve seen this band 3 three times already and I don’t plan on stopping - I even got my pal to miss Elton John for these lot.. that’s dedication for you.
Funny story- I was lucky enough to have got the chance to meet two of the band members at Dot to Dot festival Nottingham. There I was, jamming to London Grammar and they turned round to have a conversation with us (WHEY)..The conversation wasn’t about much but lets just say if their music wasn’t a good enough reason to like them, their friendly personalities encourage you to love them even more.
NOW FOR THE MUSIC.
A song of theirs I’m absolutely buzzing about at the moment is COLD SKIN. With lyrics such as 'We're waste with love, like our parents did years before. You look strange to me, glowing with our life’s certain end’ it makes me go DAMN (literally beyond beautiful)  It’s one of those songs that you can put on in your car or if you’re walking home from a ball ache work / school day and just chill and have a singalong.. Warning though, it may cause you to sing unknowingly loud if your head phones are in!
I mean like most indie genre music out there, it does have a similar vibe but there’s something about this song that stands out amongst the crowd, its fresh and it shoves a massive middle finger up to the current pop hits that are constantly being repeated *cough* blurred lines *cough*. Well done to them for staying original and not being sucked into the shitty pop curse which everyone seems to be doing nowadays.

I wish this band the best of luck and I can assure you this wont be the last you hear about these lot.
A MASSIVE 4**** FOR THE SONG and THE BAND
Keep up the good work lads!
